Thank You Mississippi!

Thank You Mississippi! Our hearts are full of joy right now! This weekend we wrapped up our amazing inaugural reading event. We had the pleasure of introducing local author J’Nay S. Domineck and her book The ABC’s of Agriculture. We were thrilled to have J’Nay share in a series of six reading events over two weekends. The Mississippi Children’s Museum in Jackson served as an ideal location. Our Author J’nay and Inspire One Billion People (IOBP) gave away over 100 books to local children ~ each book had a personalized message. We hope all of the kids were INSPIRED to read, believe, learn, grow, share and love. The room was continuously filled with laughter and fun. The children left with IOBP swag bags, snacks, and fun surprises. We raffled T-shirts, had a professional photographer documenting the event, and the spinning 360 Virtual Booth. At IOBP we have committed this year to literacy and reading awareness. We often say “reading and words are windows to the world.” IOBP will continue to roll out the red carpet to children and families, who are our greatest resource. Thank you to everyone who contributed to making the event successful. Please join us for our next event.

Proverbs 22:6 – “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”
